Construction update.  Entrance to the parking lot from University Ave is blocked once again.  There is no street parking on University between Cameron and McKay Ave.  Also the sidewalk might be unavailable along with the front main entrance to the church.  The hall entrance along with the door by the Memorial Garden will remain available for use.  University is closed East of Cameron Ave.  Access to the church parking lot is available still from the alley off Cameron Ave.  Parking is also available at Mason school and the west lot of Dollarama.

Welcome to Church of the Ascension

With this Good Shepherd Sunday, we continue our celebration of the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ as we gather together as one flock, following the voice of the one Shepherd.

As we gather each week to hear His voice calling us to faithfulness as we seek to make Him known in all that we do.  We pray that this that this will strengthen you for the week to come and gran you an abiding sense of the Shepherd's presence in your life each and every day.

Scripture, Tradition, Reason

We recognize the importance of tradition and reason in seeking to understand what it is that Scripture is saying.

We do not put reason or tradition over Scripture since it is the ultimate authority.
