Construction update. Entrance to the parking lot from University Ave is blocked once again. There is no street parking on University between Cameron and McKay Ave. Also the sidewalk might be unavailable along with the front main entrance to the church. The hall entrance along with the door by the Memorial Garden will remain available for use. University is closed East of Cameron Ave. Access to the church parking lot is available still from the alley off Cameron Ave. Parking is also available at Mason school and the west lot of Dollarama.
Welcome to Church of the Ascension
For generations, Christians have knelt to pray to the Lord Jesus asking Him to guide them in the way of truth and righteousness. We continue in that daily tradition too, lifting our hearts together in prayer for that very same purpose. As we pray to the Lord, each of us from different places and backgrounds, may we find that narrow path whereby one may be guided toward the peaceable Kingdom and together bear witness to the love of God as we are drawn ever closer to His presence.

Scripture, Tradition, Reason
We recognize the importance of tradition and reason in seeking to understand what it is that Scripture is saying.
We do not put reason or tradition over Scripture since it is the ultimate authority.
